Meta data deletion instructions
Business clients can disconnect their authorised Facebook and Instagram assets and ask ZAF to delete connected data that is no longer needed to provide the service.
- 01
Disconnect access if needed
You can remove ZAF's access from the relevant Meta business settings at any time. Once access is removed, ZAF stops retrieving new data from the affected assets.
- 02
Submit a deletion request
Use the ZAF Contact form. Begin the message with “Meta data deletion request” and include your business name, the authorised account email, and the Facebook Page or Instagram account identifiers involved. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
- 03
Verification and deletion
We verify that the requester is authorised, disconnect the integration where required, delete eligible connected data from ZAF systems, and confirm when the request has been completed.
What the request covers
This may include connected Page and Instagram account data, campaign and insight data, messages and comments, lead or sales records supplied through the platform, draft content, schedules and approval records associated with the requesting client.
We may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, contractual records or legal obligations. We will explain any applicable limitation when responding.
